A newsletter. Finally. I decided to go with ButtonDown. Simple to use, supports Markdown, and privacy in a way that’s tolerable. For a moment, I got distracted by another provider whose templates were pretty, but once I dug in, I found there wasn’t much beneath the surface. Beware: not all bright, shiny things are good for you.

If Buttondown’s good enough for Charlie Jane Anders, it’s gotta be good enough for the rest of us. If you don’t know who she is, you’re missing out some great storytelling.
