Little Known Facts

  • For a production of Pinocchio, in the third grade, she played the part of the Blue Fairy.
  • The first professionally done play she ever saw was Cyrano de Bergerac with Peter Donat at A.C.T. in San Francisco.
  • A fourth generation San Franciscan, J.D. is a descendant of James P. Casey, who helped found one of the first San Francisco fire departments. He was later hung by the vigilantes of 1856, for being, well, a murderer and a politician. He was buried at Mission Dolores.
  • She alternates writing using fountain pens and a Mac.
  • Recently JD started her own production company, Guerrilla Da’Ville Productions, LLC. She is making a short film.
